Have I done any good in the world today?
You will never regret a kind deed done to someone in need.

Sunday Activities

We enjoyed going to Church today - after having it cancelled last week. Before we had lunner, people were involved in different activities. Kemiah and Domonique played several different games together.

Emily and Marissa enjoyed reading the comic pages that Grandma and Grandpa Nichols have started to give us every week.

Ben and Xiomara enjoyed playing the new Monopoly game that Xiomara got for Christmas with their Dad.

I took a break from nursing the baby to take pictures. I figured you didn't want a picture of that so it's not included. I hope you had a wonderful Sabbath day with your family!

Late Christmas Gift

We had a notice in our mailbox the day after Christmas that the mailman had tried to deliver a package the day before Christmas. It must have come while I was out shopping and Kevin and the kids were in the basement stacking wood. Bummer. So Kevin picked it up on Friday and we were able to give Kemiah her last present. She was so excited!

We all enjoy these books - a clever pig out smarts the predators! Her father's nickname for her is pig so she must be super clever!

Prettiest pinch pot

We made some clay for the kid's school art class. They all made coil pots and pinch pots. I was totally impressed with Marissa's work.

Just thought I'd share.

Missing Piece

Kemiah and Domonique were playing a game, Don't Break the Ice. They had just set up the board again, but couldn't find the polar bear to set on top. We looked, and looked, assuming Harmonie had walked off with it and set it down some where. After several minutes of searching, I finally asked Harmonie, "Where did you put the polar bear?" To my surprise she tugged at her pants. Not really sure what she was doing I asked, Did you put the bear in your pants?" She sat down and pulled on her pants. Sure enough, the polar bear was in her pant leg, unable to fall out because she was wearing sweatpants. Silly girl. We were glad to have the polar bear back.

Real Sledding

Some of our friends invited us to go sledding with them. Everyone was very excited. It was perfect weather, but that meant they all came home wet. They had a blast any way. Our friends left and we kept on going. We will have to do this again! (But we might need to get more sleds because our three round ones all got broken.)

Ben
By the end he was using the sled like a snowboard.

Look who's three months old!

What a sweet little baby girl!

She's laying on the blanket Grandma and Grandpa Nichols gave her for Christmas. So soft and warm!

Oh, the cuteness!

I'm surrounded
by cuteness!

She loves her sister!

It's so sweet to see Harmonie love her little sister.
Well, it's usually neat.
Sometimes it is painful for Camdilyn.
But most of the time it's sweet love!

So loved!

Our wonderful friend, Mrs. Carol, gave Kevin the biggest gift bag I have ever seen. It was filled with the kid's gifts. I couldn't wait so I peeked... There were 8 beautiful, warm fleece blankets in the bag, one for each of the kids. I was so tempted to give them to the kids a week early but we didn't. I kept the bag secret and didn't put it out until after the kids were in bed Christmas Eve. I was so excited to see their faces. It was the first present we opened Christmas morning and they used the blankets to mark their spots. It was so fun and the kids were all delighted and excited as I handed them out - starting with the youngest, and ending with the oldest. What a wonderful treat! Thank you soo much, Mrs. Carol!

How does she do that?

This is how Camdilyn fell asleep in her seat.
It looks like her head is going to break off.
She always sleeps with it tilted.
Silly girl.

Christmas Eve Grammy Jammies

Following tradition the kids opened their Grammy Jammies tonight. They were so excited. We had them open them one at a time this year. They liked to peek to see them before everyone else, but then they'd be so excited they would tear them open. They all turned out so cute and perfect! I think I say that every year (and my Mom worries every year that they won't be just right). I love this tradition and I hope my Mom sticks around for a very long time because I'm not sure I can do it when she's gone. So, without further ado, here are the kids in their new, warm Grammy Jammies!

Now that they are all unwrapped... you have to see them in the jammies. You just have to smile because they are so cute!

I told you they were awesome! They will stay extra warm through our cold winter nights with all the love that was put into making their jammies!
