What have I done for someone today?
Have I done any good in the world today?
You will never regret a kind deed done to someone in need.

Birthday card from Grammy and Gaffa

It finally arrived in the mail today!
She was so excited to open it and see what they said!

She is so sweet!

(Note: just in case you are wondering why she is still in jammies at 2:42 in the afternoon..... it is General Conference weekend and we let the kids stay in their jammies all day (if they want) while we enjoy the sessions of conference. We used to take all the kids to the church building, dressed up, and eat there between sessions but we don't do that anymore. If you ask the older kids they probably still remember doing it and sometimes they ask if we can do it again.)

Carrot anyone?

Xiomara harvested a carrot from her garden.
Tiny little thing but she shared it anyway.
Why do they taste so different from the ones you buy at the store?

Bird house and painting

She wanted to build her bird house today. So that's what we did. It was really simple and she had a great time using a hammer to put in the nails. She help apply the stickers and then wanted to paint all the blank sides. Xiomara helped to watch her progress and they all had a great time.

Her actual birthday is today!

Today we spent the day celebrating Camdilyn, starting with pancakes and ice cream for breakfast! We just added sprinkles to the pancakes and she was happy with that (much easier than making all sorts of other things and she was happy so it didn't matter). Ben and Marissa did miss out because they have started going to work with Kevin in the mornings to work and do their school work there, but we'll make it up to them another day.

They little girls played with the Magic Tracks in the playroom most of the day. With two battery operated cars they had loads of fun!

I made Naomi her own small track so she could push her own little cars around at her own pace.

She also liked to walk on the track because it was just the right size for her foot.

Pretty evening sunset.

Grandma Graham dropped her present off at Kevin's office so he brought it home. She opened it just before bedtime and really enjoyed everything in the bag!

Soft pig - Kemiah was a little jealous.

I think she had a great day. She kept telling me about her gifts and saying, "I wanted that." I'm glad she can be happy with what she received and really love what she got no matter what it is.

34 weeks with baby #10

Oddly enough, this is the first pregnancy picture I have taken. I kept thinking about it but never did it and so this pregnancy starts off being less documented than any of my other pregnancies. What can you expect with #10, right? Well, she is growing and doing well, as far as I can tell. I have all the same issues as I have with the others so nothing new there. I am weighing in a bit heavier than I would like - probably due to my starting weight and my lack of exercise. We are looking forward to having this little one join us some time in the next four weeks!

Party Celebration a day early!

Camdilyn's birthday is on Wednesday and the older guys have church activities so we had the party tonight. She first asked for ice cream cones but then decided to have a snake cake. The nice thing about 4-year-olds is that they are easy to please. This is the snake cake that she just loved:

Gathered for the party!

Singing "Happy Birthday" while the cake is brought in.

Trying to get the candles blown out.

Finally got all four out!
So pleased with herself.

Dad likes to bonk her on the head with the gifts.

From Grandma and Grandpa Nichols
painting pages,

Chicken game,

Smarties,

gummie bears,

card with $4 that she counted.

The softest panda bear ever!
(her Dad's nickname for her is panda.)

Magic Tracks - this will be so fun!

Airplanes and helicopters - she asked for these,
while we were at a museum in Massachsetts
looking at airplanes.

Giant bag of candy!
She is one of our best sharers,
so it won't last long
but she will get great joy out of sharing with everyone!

her own colored pencils - she wanted those

Kung Fun Panda (for the panda)
and UP

We enjoyed the cake and ice cream after all the gifts were opened. Camdilyn is such a joy and delight. She loves others and plays nicely with her younger sister, and usually with her older siblings. She is learning lots of good things and I love her sweet little smile, hugs and kisses!
