What have I done for someone today?
Have I done any good in the world today?
You will never regret a kind deed done to someone in need.

6 must be a magical number

It's the year kids gain some attitude.
Kemiah turned 6 and she is all about it.
We enjoyed pancakes and ice cream for breakfast (but I didn't take any pictures).
We went to the library for story time (the next three pictures). We took glazed popcorn to share (no picture) and we all loved it.

We went to the church building after storytime to surprise one of our friends, who also had his birthday today. We enjoyed pizza, cake, friends, and fun. It was a lovely party!

Standard family party after dinner (we were all full of crepes, strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream) with Grandma and Grandpa Nichols. She asked for a vanilla and fudge ice cream cake, so that's what she got.

She blew out all 6 candles with one puff from her nose. Silly girl.

We forgot to open Grammy and Gaffa's card at breakfast so she opened that first.

This year she received: 6-pairs of socks, 4 movies (Brave, Despicable Me, Sinbad, El Dorado), 2 Magic Tree House books, a 500-piece puzzle, snow boots, and a digital camera from the Nichols. The comic page of the stuffing was a big hit.

It was a fun filled day and we were happy to celebrate Kemiah's day with lots of people today. She is learning so much, willing to help and do lots of things, and loves attention from anyone.
