We have really had beautiful weather. We decided to take advantage of it and go to the pumpkin farm. Not just any farm, but Johnson's Giant Pumpkin Farm. The nicest part is that it is not very far away - just outside of Saginaw, but it's still considered Saginaw. We had a nice time watching the trebuchet throw pumpkins, looking at all the animals, and eating doughnuts! They are made fresh on the farm. We had a really nice evening! After watching the last launch, we went over to the trebuchet and talked with the owners of the farm. They were surprised to find out that all the kids were mine, and that two were with their father. It was funny to see their reaction. Then we watched as the farmer started to untangle the lines of the trebuchet. After a little while he said he was tired and told the kids to do it. Ben and Marissa got to walk around holding the line and helping out. It was fun - but I didn't take any pictures of that part. Bummer.
