What have I done for someone today?
Have I done any good in the world today?
You will never regret a kind deed done to someone in need.

Decided to get our camping thing going

Since we hadn't gone camping at all this summer, and Kevin took Friday's off specifically to do that sort of thing, he decided we needed to do some during the month of August. For our first weekend, just a one nighter, we headed to a new place - North of the Lake Resort. They told us we would have to park the trailer somewhere other than our site unless it was part of our sleeping space, so Kevin and I put the two-man tent on the trailer. It helped to keep it a bit drier after the rain that poured for a short time.

Looking at our site from the woods.

We took refuge from the rain in the clubhouse,
with lots of things to do to keep us busy...

Puzzles

Painting hands and putting them on the wall.
I didn't take a picture of the entire wall,
which had two trees and grass and a couple more flowers,
all made out of kids' hand prints.

Back at the wet camp site,
enjoying the warmth of the fire.

Of course, we enjoyed the putt-putt course.
We were the only ones using it,
and we had lots of fun.

We even enjoyed some sunshine!

I witnessed a hole in one!

Twice!

Kevin and Ben always play horseshoes!

Smores' - yum!

Love the golden toasted marshmallows.

Littlest one enjoying the spoils of someone else's work.

Saturday morning we enjoyed playing on the playground, with some more putt-putt and horseshoes as well!

They all wanted to go swimming so I took them.
It was a bit chilly, especially when the sun went behind
the ever present clouds.

Naomi and I hung out on deck.

They got a bit too chilly to stay in the water.

It was a fun, thrown together trip and we were glad the rain didn't come again.
