What have I done for someone today?
Have I done any good in the world today?
You will never regret a kind deed done to someone in need.

Smithsonian

Kevin took some time off at the end of April and the beginning of May, for a big family trip out to Massachusetts to visit his family. He decided that instead of just driving straight there, it was time to make a trip the Washington, D.C. and visit the Smithsonian Museums! We drove to a town outside of D.C. and spent the night in a hotel. Harmonie started coughing in the middle of the night so I took her out to the car to sleep in her car seat (hoping everyone else could get a better nights sleep, and maybe me too) and this is what I woke up to see across the parking lot...

We left after breakfast and headed into the city. It was a sunny day and we were all excited to see everything! It was a lot of walking and we saw lots of things at the Natural History and Air and Space Museums. I'll only share a few photos because I'm sure you don't need every detail or our trip but it was a lot of walking!

Had fun finding some of the characters from Finding Nemo.

Lunch time: chicken fingers and fries!

On our way to the Air and Space Museum.
Pretty girls.

Domonique tried to help Harmonie enjoy their time in the stroller.

Simulator fighter cockpit - brought back memories of another life time ago.

Flying a plane with lots of little fans blowing at you.

Watching an informative video.

Watching a Mickey Mouse video.

Just some pretty scenery pictures I wanted to share.

After we were kicked out of the Air and Space Museum we walked all the way down to the Washington Monument, which was having work done to it. I so badly wanted to walk all the way down, past the White House, to the Lincoln Memorial but we were all so tired that we just couldn't do it. Maybe next time. We left D.C. and drove northeast to another hotel for the night. What a trip! Sorry about the lie about a few photos, but I just had to document it!
