Do you have any idea how challenging it is to drive and park a 15-passenger van in Boston? I wouldn't be able to do it but Kevin does it just fine and so we made a trip up to Boston, this time to enjoy the Legoland Discovery Center. We got there a little bit before they opened their doors so we tried to find some place warm to wait. We collected on the side of the building in the sunshine to stay warm - and then they opened the doors and we went inside. We were the first people there and had the place to ourselves for quite a while. It was a fun place!
Greeted by some Lego people.
A little activity before entering.
Of course, we had to stop at the bathroom.
I want these kind of doors!
Save the Princess ride.
They really enjoyed it and rode it several times.
Amazing display of the city -
some places we have seen.
Love the details,
and the fun out-of-place pieces and people.
Naomi would walk her feet along and Uncle Chris moved her down the display.
So funny!
Boat race in the river.
I think it was rigged or broken.
These are the boats that race.
Cheers!
A playground area for people just the right height.
The two youngest and two oldest couldn't go in.
Kevin put the baby on the moving plate.
What a ride!
Race track for the cars they built.
4-D movies
There were four different 15-minute movies and I think we watched them all.
Another ride - this one went around in circles and up and down.
Hooray for riding a cow!
Can you read the sign on the wall?
I did after I took the picture.
It says, "Please don't climb on the animals."
It says, "Please don't climb on the animals."
Oops!
