Big Little Helper

I was feeding Camdilyn lunch, but walked away to do something while she was chewing her bite. When I came back, this is what I found. I love Harmonie and her little personality. She loved helping Camdilyn and it was fun to watch them love each other. I love Harmonie's mouth as she feeds her sister - open and close to help Camdilyn. Sisterly love!

Is this like a foot in the mouth?

They thought it was funny! And so did I. What silly kids. It probably started out as a competition - see who could get their hand in their mouth the farthest. For some it was natural and for others it was a stretch. 

She is talking better every day.... and I get it most of the time

H - I go on the potty.
Me - Good job! Did you stay dry?
H - Yes! I can have candy! (big smile on her face)
Me - Sure.
(She comes back with a few smarties left in the wrapper, because she knows where I get them from.)
H - (says something not quite clear)
Me - Yes, you can eat them.
H - (says the same unclear thing)
Me - Yes, go to the table and eat them.
H - (says the same unclear thing, but this time I figure it out)
Me - Yes, you can have all of them. (there were only three left in the package)
H - (scampers off so excited that she can eat all of them, because that was what she had been asking me and I just didn't get it)

First real snow of the season!

And we were all ready to go sledding! We had a late breakfast and then headed to the hill. Everyone was very excited and even more excited when we showed them their new sleds! They thought they were going to have to share but they each got their own! What a fun time we had together!

We all had a great time! It was just great! As we were sledding, a man from the local paper showed up and asked if he could take our pictures. We shall see if anything comes of it. We just enjoyed ourselves. Then we came home for hot chocolate and candy canes! What a treat!
