What have I done for someone today?
Have I done any good in the world today?
You will never regret a kind deed done to someone in need.

Cross that off the bucket list

I have no idea if my kids ever really thought about doing this, but when the library said we could walk in the Bridgeport parade with them I was all over it. I have taken my kids to a few parades and they enjoy watching and catching candy. This time I had them walk in the parade and it was fun. Harmonie and Domonique rode bikes, I pushed Naomi and Camdilyn in the stroller, and the older girls tossed candy that the librarians brought. It was much longer than I anticipated and poor little Harmonie was so tired but she kept riding.

Harmonie loved to wave to people as she went.
It was simply adorable.

We accepted the bus ride back to our car so we didn't have to walk all the way back. Unfortunately, the bus driver took his family to McDonald's for treats after the parade so we waited, and waited, and waited. I must say that a parking lot isn't the best place to play but we made due. The kids were excited about riding in the big bus - so that's another thing they can cross off their bucket lists.

Kevin and Ben were still at work so that's why it was just me and the girls!
