We did have one accident while we were cleaning up the yard. Marissa and Ben were carrying one end of the log splitter as they moved it from the front yard. They stopped to rest but Marissa's pinky got pinched/cut. I was inside when Kevin brought a crying Marissa in through the house to the bathroom. They rinsed it and Kevin looked at it. It was pretty deep. I asked him where I should take her and he looked at me like I was crazy. Oh yeah, he's a doctor. He just took her to his office and stitched her up there. She did great and took good care of it while we were at the pool. I'm sure it will heal up just fine.

Should I mention that this is the second time Marissa has gotten stitches in her left hand, which is the hand she writes with? Should I mention the only other person who has gotten stitches in Xiomara (and that was only one and really wasn't needed)? Brave girl.
