Now it's coming down!

It started snowing and they were little flakes so I wasn't worried about the forecasted blizzard. But over time those little flakes got bigger and bigger and they just kept piling up! 

Look at all that snow!

We played games, packed up the tubs, and got ready to leave.

Wow! That really is a lot of snow.

Chris used a leaf blower to blow the snow out of the trailer so we could load it up.

Genius idea really!

The snow did stop coming down and we did get the trailer loaded. We had all the stuff we brought, plus the two wooden bookcases with glass doors and metal shelving from the basement. They were able to get it all on so hopefully it makes it home okay. I am worried about the glass doors. They shoveled some of the snow out from in front of the van so hopefully we can get out in the morning. What crazy weather!

Legoland Discovery Center in Boston

Do you have any idea how challenging it is to drive and park a 15-passenger van in Boston? I wouldn't be able to do it but Kevin does it just fine and so we made a trip up to Boston, this time to enjoy the Legoland Discovery Center. We got there a little bit before they opened their doors so we tried to find some place warm to wait. We collected on the side of the building in the sunshine to stay warm - and then they opened the doors and we went inside. We were the first people there and had the place to ourselves for quite a while. It was a fun place!

There were four different 15-minute movies and I think we watched them all.

Master Builder Class

Each of the kids built an engine.

We learned lots:

Ben built a sphere.

 We had a wonderful time. Enjoyed lunch as well. It was a very fun day for all of us. Thank you, Memere, for the wonderful activity.
