Third Buddy Movie Date

Kemiah and Ben had their turn today.

We saw Hotel Transylvania 2, and we all enjoyed it.

Yes, they had popcorn.

Yes, we went out to McDonald's.

Yes, we discussed how they could help each other more.

Good times together.

She really doesn't like utensils

She has never liked me feeding her with a fork or a spoon. She clamps her mouth shut and moves her head away. It's a different story when I use my fingers to feed her. Needless to say, she doesn't eat baby food very well. So we have moved on to other finger foods. Tonight she enjoyed beans and corn that she could pick up off her tray, or I could put in her mouth (if I was lucky). What a picky little person. It's interesting to me how early their littler personalities show and how different each one is from the other. Love them all!

Happy Early Halloween - from the library

Today was the dress up party at the library. We had lots of fun with our marshmallow, piglet, pirate and police officer. They enjoyed the treats that others shared and we shared glazed popcorn. It is fun to enjoy our little friends and our librarians.

Two wheels!

They decided to try Domonique on two wheels.

She was conflicted - excited but scared.

Off she goes...

Woohoo!

Still needs to work on controlling the steering part, but she's on her way!

Settlers of America

 I guess it was a good game. Ben was playing with some of his sisters and so he wanted to record it for all time. I'm glad they enjoy playing games together.

Group Movie Date

I had a Relief Society meeting last night, and left the kids with dinner dishes to clean up and get ready for bed and get everyone to bed and all that stuff. I came home knowing that I may have things to do because they may not have gotten it all taken care of. I was prepared for whatever, except for what I actually found. I walked into the kitchen when I got home and the dishes were all done, the table was wiped, the living room and library were cleaned up and all the kids were in bed! Amazing! What a wonderful treat! So, today, I took them all to the movie to say thank you - even though I praised them all in the morning, I thought this would be great! We all enjoyed our time at the movie, but we did not have lunch at McDonald's. 

Baby feeding a baby

The girls thought it was just so funny when they saw Naomi trying to feed the baby doll a bottle. And the best part was how pleased Naomi was with this new activity. She just thought it was great, and we all enjoyed watching her! What a fun little person she is.

Playing, Working and Eating

The kids were excited for it to be a bit warmer outside and sort of enjoyed doing some yard work! Well, it was until Harmonie jumped out of the pile of leaves and Ben tried to mow them all up. Then it became a bit of chaos! Such is life.

We got the recipe of the bread they made in Nauvoo, and Emily was dying to try it. So we did but it didn't quite turn out the same. They ate it anyway.
