Benjamin and all his faces!

This is what I get when I want to take his picture.

So I always have to take more than one.

Eventually he cooperates!

He's almost 15 years old!

I took the pictures for my mother so she could make his birthday card. I sent her a few so we'll be surprised to see his card and see which picture of him she ended up using.

Haven't played this in a long time

Someone got out Twister today, and we actually played the game together! It was so funny to see the kids getting all tangled up. They weren't allowed to push but they were allowed to take up space. There was one round where Dad made up some pretty funny things: bottom on blue, ear on yellow, elbow on red, knee on green. The kids really enjoyed it when Dad played on the mat with them so it was a fun time for all!

Camdilyn enjoyed carrying the bag. She came up to me and said, "Now I'm like you. I can be a Mom because I have a bag."

Big ol' happy family

Frozen tree lines

Benjamin went out to take care of the chickens - mainly give water to the roosters. He came back to the house telling me I had to come see. I did eventually go out and was amazed. He had broken up the water in the roosters bucket and when he turned over a piece he saw these beautiful frozen pieces that looked like tree lines. Pretty amazing! I was glad I had gone out to see them in person because the pictures don't do it justice. Thanks for sharing with me, Ben.

Sweet sleepy girl.

She fell asleep in her high chair so we moved her to the couch. I guess she's more comfortable there. I just hope she doesn't roll off and hit the floor.

Pretty snowman and little girls

A couple weeks ago, Mrs. Cindy had the girls create these furry snowmen with shredded paper. I just thought they were cute - but not nearly as cute as the little creators.

Her first pony tail!

So cute!

But it didn't stay in for very long.
She loved to sit and look at books,
especially with someone else nearby.

She loves music

Naomi will hear the noise of this toy and start dancing - bouncing. She loves it, even though it is broken but still sings some and makes some noise. She will push the buttons to make the noise and bounce and walk around and love it all! What a cutie!

Harmonie had a flower apple

Harmonie tried to eat a whole apple the other day. She started out okay but then somehow the end broke off. She saw in the flower in the center of her apple and so eating it was no longer the goal. She stuck it under her booster seat because she wanted to save it. It wasn't until a couple days later that she admitted it and showed it to me (hence the brown color on the apple). I told her I would take a picture of it and then we could throw it away. She agreed. So here is her apple flower!

Love the oldest and youngest together

We thought it was so cute that she had her arm around him.

We thought it was really cute that she was staring at his banana.

Just so cute.

Benjamin does love his littlest sister in a special way and he tries to give her time and attention. He knows he has very little time with her so he needs to make it count. I love him! Grateful for his efforts.
