Art and Science

The little girls were very excited to paint together. I love it when they enjoy each other. They are each so different from the other but they are so fun!

Just figured I would include what the older guys are doing. Ben and Emily are taking a biology class through Delta college and they have experiments they have to do, and turn in the lab and pictures. So I do remember my older kids and they are active in all sorts of ways.

These three little girls will play together nicely, most of the time. It was just a moment I had to capture. They don't do anything amazing, most of the time, but I love to watch them create and play and imagine together. I'm so glad they are willing to work together, share and have fun together.

I often look back in my mind when I had three little kids playing together - but it was my oldest three. They were fun to watch back then, doing similar things that these little girls do now. Time changes things but also keeps things the same.

Found some peanuts

Packing peanuts, that is. These are the biodegradable packing peanuts that are made from rice (I think). I have had them for a long time so I let the little girls play with them. I showed them how to lick and stick them together. They had a great time. All the older kids said, "oh, I love those." It was fun to see their creativity.

Time has flown by.

Domonique is 7,

Harmonie is 5,

Camdilyn is 4,

Naomi is 2,

RoseMarie is one and half months old.

Throw back to when we only had 4 kids...

(I looked for one with the older five kids,

but I couldn't find one like this.

I'll keep looking another day!)

Ben was almost four,

Marissa was almost three,

Emily was 18 months, 

Xiomara was a couple months old.

Getting along!

I have some good workers.

Domonique like to have a helper.

Hanging around the house together

This was the rest of my "confused" costume, that I didn't end up wearing

because the pig nose was uncomfortable.

Naomi loved being a flying pig!

And she danced around the living room.

We are all done with having animals.

The pigs have been slaughtered (still waiting to get the meat).

Today the kids loaded up all the chickens into the trailer,

and Kevin took them to a friend's house so he could add them to his flock.

All gone are the chickens!

Domonique enjoyed playing withe some salt dough

which she received at the Trunk or Treat last night.

What a pretty rose!

Harmonie made a double tulip, with leaves.

Outside fun!

They wanted to play a small game of croquet in the shade.

They found a nice spot.

Time for a drink of cool water.
