She helped me make pancakes on Saturday morning, complete with stop lights, smiley faces, and even one with her initials. We all enjoyed them with vanilla ice cream and syrup. I ran out to the mail box to see if her card was there and, sure enough, it was there (because I didn't pick up mail on Friday). She enjoyed opening that and then I passed out balloons - always a hit!
Sunday we enjoyed Stake Conference, we were there in time to snag some chairs in the last row of soft seats. We ate doughnuts in the parking lot when we were done - it was lunch time. I wrapped the presents when we got home and made dinner - German pancakes. It was yummy and then we waited for Grandma and Grandpa Nichols to arrive with the cake. It was a cute little frog!
She enjoyed opening presents and was not at all impressed with the four green paper things that came in the card from Grandma and Grandpa Nichols. I think it was a great two day celebration!
