The beginning of the Annual Payne Family Reunion

We arrived at Grand Serendipity before anyone else, and even before the cleaning crew was done so we walked around and waited. We actually started to unpack as well because we figured we might as well. We were happy to see the sun shining. We were not happy when Kevin and Kemiah came back from a walk about with tiny ticks on their legs. Oh bother! Stay out of the woods!

Everyone else arrived safely and we enjoyed getting people settled in their rooms and places. Monique did a great job planning the meals and desserts again this year - thank you so much! We all enjoyed spaghetti and bread and salad for dinner, with mini cupcakes for dessert - delicious!

We forgot to do the scripture moment tonight because everyone was so excited and I put my little ones to bed earlier than everyone else. We were all still trying to get settled.

It is so great to have everyone together again. We are missing Liisa and Caden Payne, Melia and Kevin Gaylord, and Elisa Mawby (who is serving a mission in California).
