The departure went just fine. Instead of going through the cities to the south, we decided to take the more northern route. We enjoyed the scenery and the kids watched their movies. We found the campground and got settled in right away. (East Otto, New York) Because it was after Labor Day, the place was really empty, but everything was also closed so no mini golf, no store, etc. Oh well.
We walked down to the lake and played at the park.
